DEFINITION: Affirmations are STATEMENTS or COMMANDS spoken either negatively or positively, the most popular use of ‘spoken affirmations’ are positive. They are spoken willfully and deliberately in order to help in the changing of some aspect of our life.
NOTE: If you repeat your affirmations without emotion or without believing them, you are in actual effect affirming the opposite. Because of this, many people find that their situation worsens when using affirmations. It is very important to RESIST the temptation to think of the affirmation as not being true.
By accepting, believing and acting as if the affirmation has already been achieved, you will begin to ‘RETRAIN’ your subconscious mind to think positively; incorrect beliefs will slowly be replaced by the NEW affirmed statement or command. As you do this repeatedly you will ultimately begin to consciously create the life you are dreaming of.
